Social Media Manager
We are seeking an energetic social media and digital manager to work in our digital team. Someone with a talent and passion for marketing and analytics.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and relish the opportunity to take on largely untapped social accounts and turn them into something impactful. You will be responsible for creating a marketing plan which truly reflects our clients brand, builds excitement and increases their following and awareness. You must have a complete understanding of how to connect, engage and prompt action from the social consumer. This will be a hands-on role where you’ll be helping to establish a long-term objective, but also have smaller and more achievable goals from day one.
You must be a dependable member of our growing team and contribute creative ideas and insightful analysis to every project, big or small.
We’re looking for a social media guru who will:
Create exciting social media strategies to increase brand awareness, grow followers and drive website traffic for our clients.
Work alongside our existing design team to execute the very best content and eye catching designs.
Schedule and plan social media strategies whilst keeping one eye on analytical data and outcomes. You must be able to create reports on both social media and website traffic using Google Analytics, Google Tag manager and social media scheduling software.
Remain current and ahead of the curve, exploiting the possibilities of newer channels such as TikTok as well as further developing Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Create a reporting dashboard to highlight the performance and growth of social media activities and website visits. You must possess the ability to report on progress with accuracy.
Martin Hopkins are a family of creatives that work together tirelessly to produce great design for our clients. It’s vital that you can work hard and take on responsibility as part of our team to produce greater outcomes for our clients and our agency. You will be responsible to our creative director and assist our whole team, and we will be required to share ideas regularly. There is no politics here – all discussions are open and honest for the sake of our clients. You should have a passion for getting things done and care for each and every project outcome. You will be:
Supporting our online marketing team in delivering client campaigns
Assisting the creation of digital content
Managing the delivery of paid media campaigns (Google Ads, social advertising etc.)
Developing email marketing campaigns
SEO maintenance and technical analysis
Research and data analysis
Manage and plan strategies for multiple clients at one time. Time management and organisation is a must.
At least 1 years’ experience working within a successful marketing role
Experience in social media scheduling tools, Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Pixel is essential
Experience using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager is also essential. You must be able to collect data, analyse and report using these tools.
Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft social media posts that influence, engage and prompt action from the audience
Have experience within a similar PPC or Social Advertising role
Proficient in managing campaigns end-to-end; from briefing through to delivery and optimisation
Analytical and data driven – using data insights to optimise future campaigns
Passion about customers, results and online excellence – with a good knowledge of emerging trends
Being a real team player and being able to collaborate with our creative team is a must
You must be able to work in a self-directed and independent way as well and as part of our team

25 – 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Salary to be agreed based on experience and hours.
Due to the current pandemic, all working will be remote until our studio reopens.
